Thomas Edward West, Sr.

Thomas Edward West, Sr., age 87, of 212 Railroad Avenue, Iron Gate, Virginia died on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

West, Sr., Franklin West, Sr. (Mary Alice), Jasper West, Jr., Milton West, Sr. (Cheryl), Roy West, Sr. (Wanda), Gabriel West (Barbara), and Gerald West (Sharon); two sisters, Alma West Myers (John) and Linda West Calloway (Marcus); six brothers-in-law, Paul David Beverly, Jr. (Ellen Lucille), John Beverly, Sr., Melvin Beverly, Curtis Beverly (Virginia), Michael Beverly (Loren), and Claude Beverly; 3 grandchildren, Janique, Jessika, and Jeff, Jr.;10 great grandchildren, Javandre, Jaheem, Jehlonni, Jaysyir, Jakhi, Jahlyil, Jahliek, Rose, Avi, and Harper; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Daniel Hammond officiating.
