Covington Division of Police Arrest James Clinton Hall Following Holly Street Shooting

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – On February 14th at approximately 5 pm, the Covington Division of Police arrested James Clinton Hall, a 25-year-old Covington man, in connection with the shooting that occurred on the 200 Block of E. Holly Street. Hall, who had been hospitalized due to injuries he received during the incident, was being treated at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, VA.

Once Hall was released from the hospital, he was subsequently arrested for his involvement in this incident. Currently, he is being held at the
Alleghany Regional Jail without bond for the felonious charges of malicious wounding, possession, and the use of a firearm in a crime by a
convicted felon.
