ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. (VR) – Alleghany swam in a three-team meet Friday at Rockbridge County with the Wildcats and Central Woodstock. Emily Peters and Kara Nicely led the Cougars with two wins each. Peters took the 200-yard freestyle in 2:37.69 and the 100-yard backstroke in 1:22.00. Nicely won the 50-yard freestyle in 29.49 and the 100-yard freestyle in 1:02.88.
