Carola & Sons Announce Lewisburg Carriage Ride Schedule

LEWISBURG, W.Va. (VR) — The Christmas season in Lewisburg officially kicks off this Saturday, marking the start of “The Magic of Christmas in Lewisburg 2025” season, featuring carriage rides by Carola & Sons Carriage Service.

The carriage service will offer both paid weekend rides and free evening rides on select Fridays throughout November and December.

Weekend Rides (Two Carriages)

Two carriages will be available on five Saturdays, starting Nov. 22, and running through Dec. 20.

These Saturday rides will be located at the Lewisburg City Green Space parking lot and will run from 3-7 p.m. The cost is $10 per rider, and $5 for children 5 years and under.

Friday Free Rides (One Carriage)

In partnership with local sponsors, Carola & Sons will also offer a single carriage at no cost to the public on three consecutive Friday evenings in December.

The free rides will be located at City Hall under the clock and will operate from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The carriage service extended thanks to all the sponsors for the event, including the City of Lewisburg, City National Bank (south), and the Lewisburg Downtown Business Association (LDBA).
