COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The 2nd Annual Victor Cucci Memorial Car Show will be held at Cucci’s on Madison Street in Covington VA on Saturday September 27. This event is being hosted by the Cucci family and Robert Floyd with members of the Alleghany Cruisers assisting.

The proceeds from the Victor Cucci Memorial Car Show will go towards the newly established Victor Cucci Memorial Scholarship which is being established for area high school students by the Cucci family. Registration for this event will be $15.00, with an additional fee of $5.00 for entrants wishing to enter multiple vehicles.

“There is a long tradition of the area car culture gathering at Cucci’s.”: commented event promoter Robert Floyd. “Many years ago, Cucci’s was the site of the original STREETSCENE Saturday Night activities. In recent years the Alleghany Cruisers have established the popular Summer Cruise In
events at this location. The Cucci family has always been very supportive of the car community in the Alleghany Highlands. I am really excited to be a part of this event as it pays tribute to a great community personality, the late Victor Cucci.”

In addition to the events mentioned above, Cucci’s was also the site of the CARFEST and KEVIN HALLS SHERIFF’S CAR SHOWS of the past.

Registration for the event will open at 8:00 am with public hours running from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Awards will be given for the Top 25 entrants along with the Cucci’s Pick Best in Show trophy picked by the Cucci family. Judging will begin at 11:00 am and will be conducted by independent judges. The first 40 entrants will receive dash plaques. There will also be door prizes and a live D.J.

For more information about the Victor Cucci Memorial Car Show please contact Robert Floyd at 540 691 4626.
