Helen Craft Smith, 76, of 100 Parkview Ave., died Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.
Mrs. Smith was born October 18, 1942, in Alleghany County a Daughter of the late Harry and Lena Bess Craft.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are her Husband, Robert D. Smith, of Covington; her Son, Anthony “Tony” Lewis, and his Wife, Dawn, of Covington; her Grandson, Kyle D. Lewis, of Covington; her great granddaughter, Madelyne Jolene Lewis, of Covington; her Sister, Audrey “PeeWee” Bradley, of Clifton Forge; two Brothers, Tommy “Peanut” Craft, and his Wife, Dianne, of Canton, Ohio and Reginald ”Minner” Craft and his Wife, Connie, of Covington and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Bowker officiating.
Interment will be made in Locust Bottom Cemetery in Botetourt County.
The family will receive their friends Friday evening from 6:30 until 8:00 PM at Arritt Funeral Home.
The family suggests that donations in Mrs. Smith’s name be made to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund; 311 Jackson Drive; Covington, VA 24426.
