SALEM — Glenvar knocked the Alleghany volleyball team from the unbeaten ranks here Tuesday night.
The Highlanders whipped the Mountaineers in straight sets, 25-12, 25-17, 25-15.
Latisha Chambers and Hannah Kincaid both had four kills to lead Alleghany, while Allie Morgan, Erin Osborne and Morganne Durham all had three apiece.
Alleghany, 3-1 on the season, now get ready to host a pair of area matches.
The Mountaineers take on Covington tonight and entertain Bath County on Monday.
The Mountaineer jayvees moved to 4-0 with a big 25-17, 25-16 straight set win over Glenvar.
