Earl Gardner Marshall, age 82, of 2020 Tunnel Hill Road, Millboro, Virginia died Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at his residence.
He was born November 2, 1937 in Bath County, Virginia to the late Mary Marshall.
He was a former Diesel Mechanic for the C&O Railroad and loved to tinker with cars. Earl loved being a Father and PawPaw.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Kitt Marshall; a son, Earl Marshall, Jr.; three sisters, Dolly McGhee, Ruth Hardbarger, Doris Fridley; two brothers, Charles Marshall and Larry Marshall.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Bates Marshall of Millboro; five daughters, Nikki Marshall of Selma, Lisa Zarazua and husband Valdemar of Richmond, Tina Marshall Blair of Low Moor, Rhonda Burke and husband Steffey of Millboro, Amanda Marshall and fiancé Robert Tucker, Jr. of Sharon; a sister, Peggy Sensabaugh and husband, Freeman of Goshen; five grandchildren, Jaime Marshall, Dana Sensabaugh, Amber Sensabaugh, Jesse Zarazua, Waylon Tucker; two great grandchildren, Emma Marshall and Jayden Atkins; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held. Interment will follow in Millboro Christian Cemetery, Millboro.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Church of God of Prophecy, c/o Reverend Johnny Mize, 518 W. Locust Street, Covington, Va 24426
