Alleghany Students Step Into State Politics at Model General Assembly

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Lawmaking in Action: Junior Logan Walton (left, senator) and sophomore Elijah Halterman (delegate) from Alleghany High School took part in the Model General Assembly in Richmond, where they experienced Virginia’s legislative process. They were among 140 students learning about policy and law.
