LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany Highlands Public Schools town hall scheduled for Wednesday at Covington Middle School to discuss the proposed 1% sales tax option for Alleghany County and the City of Covington has been canceled.
At this time, no decision has been made regarding whether the town hall will be rescheduled, and no alternate date has been announced. We appreciate the community’s interest in this important topic and thank everyone for their understanding.
