COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The members of Concerned Christian Baptist Church will celebrate the 28th anniversary of the church on Sunday, March 2nd 2025, at 3:00pm. Pastor William O. Hickman III will deliver the sermon at the 11 o’clock service.
Rev. Milton L. Hardy, Assistant Pastor of Greater Prayer Temple, Roanoke, VA will be the guest speaker.
Rev. Hardy is a gifted writer, singer and musician earning him recognition for the Bobby Jones New Talent Showcase in New Orleans 2010 and 2011. His powerful vocals earned him the title of Male Vocalist of the year from UBU Gospel Entertainment Group 2013.
He is deeply committed to his community where he has served as President of the Board of Directors in Roanoke Area Ministries, working to aid the homeless and those in need. He works as the Athletics Coordinator for the Roanoke City Parks and Recreation mentoring the youth of the community through sports.
