Fortney Boat Launch Temporarily Closed

Hot Springs, Va. January 23, 2025 – The Forest Service has temporarily closed the Fortney Boat Launch due to hazardous and icy conditions.

“Conditions at the boat launch are icy and unsafe to use given the winter weather conditions. We greatly appreciate the public’s understanding,” said District Ranger, Kevin Kyle.
