Vols to Honor Dolly Parton With Special Butterfly Helmet Sticker

The Volunteers will honor Dolly Parton throughout the 2026 season with a special butterfly helmet sticker celebrating her life and impact.

Head coach Josh Heupel announced the tribute Monday as No. 20/18 Tennessee prepares to host Furman at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Neyland Stadium.

The butterfly design will appear on Tennessee’s helmets during the season as the program recognizes Parton, whose influence extends well beyond music and into communities across Tennessee and around the world.

Saturday’s opener will also mark Tennessee’s 130th season of football. Neyland Stadium is expected to be packed, with the Volunteers extending their streak to 28 consecutive sellouts dating back to Sept. 17, 2022.

For Tennessee, the opener marks the end of months of offseason work and four weeks of preseason camp.
