CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – VFW Post 1033 Auxiliary visited local nursing homes spreading joy to veterans with their annual gift bags to say “thank you” to the men and women in these nursing homes who gave so much to our country. In an effort to make each veteran feel special, they are given an item of their choice.
We thank the staff in these homes who take care of them. We at VFW Post 1033 are so honored and humbled to be able to give these annual gifts to these special veterans.
