Dear Editor,

We would like to COMMEND and THANK our community for their support and generosity to the Snack Pack Program. During the 2025-2026 academic year we provided packs for nearly 500 AHPS elementary students on non school days.  Clifton Forge Baptist Church and Parrish Court United Methodist Church provided us with a place to pack and to store our supplies. We recognized several groups for being our Platinum Donors: Covington Moose Lodge 610, Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church, Ingevity, and the Christmas Mother Program. We were blessed with many volunteers who packed and delivered the packs to Callaghan, Jeter Watson, Mountain View and Sharon Elementary School.

This year  the need is GREATER ! We are providing 720 children with a protein, a grain and a fruit snack every weekend day, holiday, and teacher workday.  We are a non profit that relies completely on donations.  Your continued support is necessary for us to help   REDUCE CHILHOOD FOOD INSECURITY ! We are asking this caring community to donate once again so that our children never experience hunger!

You can donate by sending a check to:
God’s Covering,Inc.
PO Box 111
Covington, VA 24426 or to donate digitally:
givelocalah.com and then select God’s Covering.

We thank you for your support,

 Pam Myers, Vice President
