Please vote for the Virginian Review Alleghany and Bath County ‘Football Friday’ Players of the Week for week 4. Three players from each school are nominated and combined together in one poll. We will take the top vote getters and announce the winners from each school on Monday nights (time may vary week-to-week). Again, there will be a winner from each school. Voting closes Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, at 9:00 PM.

Nominees:

Bath County (defeated Meadow Bridge WV 68-12):

Wyatt Campbell: 162 yards, 3 TDs

Ethan Bryant: 118 rush yds, 2 TDs

Luke Turner: 105 total yds, 3 TDs

Alleghany (beat Greenbrier East WV 42-7):

Xzavier Hayslett: 5 rec, 74 yds, TD–acrobatic interception on defense

Jay Godfrey: 18-yd catch–79 yd int ret for TD, everywhere on defense

Alleghany Defense: held Greenbrier East to 132 total yards, 2 INT, 3 sacks, multiple QB hurries
