COVINGTON- In a nerve racking, nail-biter kind of evening, the Covington Middle School Cougars survived Glenvar in a tense volleyball matchup on Thursday, Aug. 22.

CMS won the first set, lost the second–in what was about as competitive as you’re going to see– and won the deciding third set to take home the early season victory.

Set #1 CMS 25, Glenvar 20
Set #2 CMS 25, Glenvar 27
Set #3 CMS 15, Glenvar 12

The Cougars will take to the court again on Monday August 26 at 5:30 when they go up against Maury River MS.
