WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. – Members of the Dunlap Fire Department were called to assist in fighting a brush fire in Greenbrier County, W.Va. Monday afternoon.
At 3:30 p.m. Monday, the department was called to respond to a brush fire located two miles past Tuckahoe Lake near White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.
Dunlap responded with two brush trucks, a tanker and eight firefighters.
The Covington Fire Department and the Covington rescue Squad were called to stand by for Dunlap while the members fought the fire.
Approximately 10 to 15 acres were scorched by the fire.
