Blair M. Grimm, 52 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Thursday December 24, 2009.
He was a active member and on the board of Shevacon Science Fiction-Fantasy Convention in Roanoke.
He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Clifton Forge and was a employee of H. H. Hunt.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Mrs. H. R. Grimm.
Blair was a loving husband, father and a friend to all. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Karen L. Grimm, a daughter, Jennifer B. Grimm, sisters, Ann G. Martin and husband Web of Roanoke, Leigh Anderson and husband Woody of Waynesboro, brother, Randy Grimm and wife Anne of Roanoke, seven nieces , one nephew, four great nieces and seven great nephews, also are several furry friends.
A memorial funeral service will be at Oakey’s North Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday January 2, 2010 with Chaplain Fred Ellsworth officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Blue Ridge Cancer Care.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. till 2 p.m. Saturday January 2, 2010 at Oakey’s North Chapel and Crematory. 540-362-1237
