CLIFTON FORGE - JonLee Ray “Rakey” Morrison, 48, of 231 Park Ave., Clifton Forge, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at his residence.

He was born July 22, 1961, in West Virginia to Archie Lee and Nana Ray Morrison.

He served in the U.S. Army and worked in Maryland as a carpenter.

In addition to his parents, Archie and Nina Morrison of Clifton Forge, he is survived by two sisters, Donna Kimberlin of Clifton Forge and Bobbie Jo Morrison of Iron Gate; a brother, Charles William Morrison and wife Debbie of Iron Gate; several aunts and uncles including a special aunt, Shirley Skiles of White Sulphur, W.Va.; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend ,Bitsey Davis.

Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Foscoe.

According to his wishes, his body has been cremated.

The Rev. Hunter Hale will conduct a special memorial prayer service today at 2 p.m. at the residence, 231 Park Ave, Clifton Forge.

The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. at the residence.

Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is in charge of arrangements.
