On Sunday, March 10, around 3 p.m. in the afternoon, a private jet crashed in Ingalls Field, killing all 5 people on board, including one juvenile and the plane’s pilot. The plane had been attempting to land but, as it made contact with the ground, struck several trees and then ignited into flames that consumed the majority of the wreckage. Local firefighters were able to contain the fire and no further injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
The Virginia Office of the Medical Examiner, Western District, has made positive identification of the victims in the Ingall’s Field plane crash.
The victims are identified as: Pilot – Claudio Jose A berto Co menares Perez (male), First Officer – Gagan Gopasandra Srinivas Reddy, (male) Passengers – A fredo Diez (male), Kseniia Shanina (female), Nicho as Diez, (male juvenile)
The families have also been notified. The NTSB continues with their investigation.
