Alleghany Highlands Has Its First Known Case of COVID-19

The first known case of COVID-19 has happened in our local area. 
A local resident of Clifton Forge, Tom Greenwood, a longtime Covington Middle School and Alleghany High School Math teacher as well as football coach is in critical condition with COVID-19.  
Greenwood has been quarantining himself for over two weeks now before being diagnosed with COVID-19.  
Our prayers are sent out to Mr. Greenwood.  
Please follow the protocol for COVID-19.  Wash your hands every so often.  Do not touch your face if they’re dirty. Keep a distance of three feet or more around someone who is ill, refrain from ten or more people in a building/room and continue to practice social distancing.
