Peyton, Collieonia and Carlie continue to recognize veterans through the Alleghany Highlands Arts and Crafts Center in Clifton Forge. This is the third year they have worked on the Valentines for veterans. Peyton helped before she walked. These angels have made a difference and learned about patriotism and veterans at the same time. They also help with our “thank you” cards for Veterans Day and our Christmas cards. Carlie and Collieonia are both students at Jeter-Watson Elementary. They also made cards this year. Pictured above left to right: Peyton Coles, Collieonia Lockhart, Carlie Lockhart . VFW Post 1033 Auxiliary is proud to have these “Angels Among US” who participate in this special project that touches so many veterans.
