Jerry Lucas

Jerry Lee Lucas, age 71, of 207 South Craig Ave, Covington, Virginia died Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at his residence.
He was born September 5, 1948 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Mary Elizabeth Lucas. Jerry was a Trustee of the Covington Moose Lodge #610.
Jerry was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Alice Lucas; his grandparents, Henry Samuel and Ethel L. Spangler Lucas; a brother Carl Dwayne Lucas; an Uncle Charles Lucas and James Henry Lucas; and an Aunt Annie Lucille Slayton.
He is survived by a daughter, Sheila Lucas, and a grandson both of Florida; one of his very dear friends, Lawrence Berry; and several other family members and dear friends.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held later.
