Dep. D Smith responded to a report of a suspicious person at a business in the Hot Springs area.
Dep. D Smith and Dep. Harlow responded to a report of a suspicious person loitering near a residence in the Hot Springs area.
Monday, January 15
Dep. Plecker responded to a report of a dog running at large causing a traffic hazard in the Warm Springs area.
Capt. Weaver responded to assist a disabled motorist in the Millboro area.
Dep. Colaw responded to assist a disabled motorist in the Hot Springs area.
Tuesday, January 16
Dep. Miller transported an individual to Alleghany Regional Jail after Bath County Circuit Court.
Dep. Miller, and Dep. Rexrode responded to a conduct traffic control for a wrecker service in the Warm Springs area.
Dep. Miller and Dep. McRoberts responded to a report of dogs running at large in the Hot Springs area.
Dep. Colaw and Dep. Bryan responded to a report of flames showing on a transformer in the Hot Springs area.
Wednesday, January 17
Dep. McRoberts and Dep. Rexrode responded to assist Hot Springs Rescue and Millboro Rescue on a call for service in the Millboro area.
Sheriff Plecker, Lt. Grimm, Sgt. Phillips, and Dep. Harlow assisted an individual who fell and was injured in the Warm Springs area.
Lt. Grimm responded to assist a disabled motorist in the Hot Springs area.
Dep. Harlow transported an individual to Alleghany Regional Jail from Bath County General District Court.
Major Bryan, Capt. Weaver, Dep. McRoberts, and Dep. Rexrode responded to assist Hot Springs Fire Department with a structure fire in the Hot Springs area.
Dep. Altizer and Dep. McRoberts responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle on private property in the Warm Springs area.
Dep. D Smith, Dep. Altizer and Dep. Harlow responded to a report of an activated alarm in the Warm Springs area.
Dep. D Smith and Dep. Plecker responded to assist Millboro Rescue on a call in the Millboro area.
Sgt. Smith assisted an individual with getting back to his residence after being seen at the hospital.
Thursday, January 18
Capt. Weaver responded to a report of gunshots in the Warm Springs area.
Dep. D Smith responded to an activated business alarm in the Hot Springs area.
Sheriff Plecker, Lt. Grimm, Sgt. Smith, Dep. Miller, Dep. D Smith, Dep. Plecker responded to a report of a wanted individual in the Hot Springs area. Sheriff Plecker served an arrest warrant on Emily Lindsay for grand larceny. Dep. D Smith and Dep. Kimberly Keyser transported her to Alleghany Regional Jail.
Friday, January 19
Sgt. Smith and Dep. D Smith responded to a report of a disabled motorist in the Hot Springs area. Vehicle was causing a traffic hazard.
Sheriff Plecker and Dep. Altizer served arrest warrants on Steven Grose for possession of schedule I or II drugs, possession of a gun with schedule I or II drugs, and possession with intent to distribute.
Sheriff Plecker and Dep. Altizer served arrest warrants on Tonya Howard possession of schedule I or II drugs, possession with intent to distribute, possession of a gun with schedule I or II drugs, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Dep. Plecker and Dep. Jennifer Smith transported her to Alleghany Regional Jail.
Saturday, January 20
Dep. Miller responded to assist Mountain Grove Fire Dept. on chimney fire in the Mountain Grove area.
Capt. Weaver and Dep. Miller responded to a report of a vehicle crash in the Burnsville area.
Dep. Miller responded to a report of a stray dog in the Burnsville area.
Capt. Weaver and Andy Seabolt responded to assist a disabled motorist on Alleghany Mountain who was stranded behind a 4 foot snow drift.
Bath County Sheriff’s Office communications officers answered 289 incoming calls and made 122 outbound calls during this time period.
