New development underway at former Nettleton Property in Covington

COVINGTON VA (VR) – A new development is underway on the former Nettleton Property on Lexington Ave. Only a few details are currently available. Reportedly, the project includes a partnership between the City of Covington and a private group. At the project’s conclusion, the property will house greenhouses and an aquaponic section to provide a variety of plants for sale.

The City of Covington Council held a public hearing on Dec. 12, 2023 regarding the lease agreement for the property. The project is now moving forward.
