HOT SPRINGS – Following the successful 2023 season that saw Bath County win the Pioneer regular season and district championship with a 17-6 overall record and numerous district recognitions, the team found even more accomplishments on the All-Region C team.
Bath County’s Hannah Armstrong, Bayley Gardzinski, Lindsay Oliver, and Kenley Smith, were named to the All-Region C second team.
Sophie Taylor (Giles) was named the regional player of the year, while Sherry Millrons (Auburn) was named the coach of the year.
Auburn went on to win its fifth straight state championship title following a four-set match victory over Altavista.
