Brandon Nakashima hits a forehand in World TeamTennis action at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, this week.
The 18-year-old, who plays for the Chicago Smash, was the 2019 Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year as a freshman at the University of Virginia.
Nakashima, from San Diego, turned professional after his freshman year in Charlottesville.
The 45th WTT season, held this year exclusively at The Greenbrier, finishes this weekend with the four-team playoffs — semifinals on Saturday and championship match on Sunday.
