Clifton Forge Public Library hosts local author Courtney Smith

The Clifton Forge Public Library recently hosted local author Courtney Smith who spoke about her debut children’s book, “We Are All Average Joes.” The book is a good introduction for children to the different challenges other children may have. Through her work as an Occupational Therapy Assistant as well as a mission trip to Jamaica to supply occupational therapy services to young adults, Courtney was inspired to write this rhyming book with the hope that it will promote “less stares and more cares.”  The evening concluded with a book signing and refreshments.
