October 2000 – Dunlap Rescue Squad won awards in the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads District 1 meeting held on October 22. The meeting was hosted by Westvaco Rescue Squad at Covington High School. Dunlap’s EMT team placed second in the competition.
