Carl ‘Doc’ Foscoe

Carl Dalton “Doc” Foscoe, Jr., age 77, of Clifton Forge died Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clifton Forge.
He was born August 9, 1943 in Iron Gate, Virginia to the late Carl Dalton Foscoe, Sr. and Mildred Hazel Bryant Foscoe.  
He was a retired mechanic for the rubber plant in Iron Gate. He was one great guy and an A # 1 mechanic who loved tinkering.  He served in the National Guard for six years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Rapp and a brother, Steven Allen Foscoe.
He is survived by a sister, Roberta Feye Kimberlin and husband Donald of Clifton Forge; two brothers, Frank William Foscoe and wife Nannie of Clifton Forge and Larry Lee Foscoe of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Hunter Earl Foscoe.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 1:00 PM in Sharon Baptist Recreation Hall with Reverend Virgil Woodie officiating.
Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is handling arrangements.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to The Woodlands Health & Rehab Center, 1000 Fairview Ave, Clifton Forge, VA  24422.
