Ronald Wayne Cale, Sr.
Ronald Wayne Cale, Sr., 76, of Covington, died Thursday, September 21, 2023, at LewisGale Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor.
Ronald was born December 15, 1946, in Covington, the son of the late Virgil M. and Lillie Kay Cale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Smith Cale; four sisters, and five brothers. He worked as a forklift operator for Bacova Guild in Low Moor for many years. Mr. Cale served his country in the United States Army.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Cale and Kerry Weade; two sons, Chipper Cale and Matthew Cale, all of Covington; one brother, Donnie Cale of Covington; two sisters, Judy Cottrell of Clifton Forge and Constance Gadd of Covington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.
A memorial service is planned for a later date.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Mr. Cale’s name be made to: Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
