The newly revitalized Covington High School Cougar Alumni Association invites all CHS alumni to attend a reception on Thursday, September 21 – at 5:00 p.m. at the Charles P. Jones Memorial Library located in Covington. Make plans to join them for a fun-filled evening to catch up on the organizational details, volunteer opportunities and future plans of the association.

This group has been evolving since 2022 and currently has received its 501C3 status from the state of Virginia. The association successfully pulled off the “CHS All Classes Reunion” in September of 2022, as well as participated in several community events since then.

Members have worked hard to acquire a space at the old Jeter-Watson school on East Pine Street and have reached out to the current school board in hopes of acquiring the many historical items of memorabilia that are no longer being displayed at the school. The long–term goal is to create a Covington High School Cougar museum for all alumni to enjoy.

If you would like more information about the Covington High School Cougar Alumni Association please email: info@chscougaralumni.org, visit their website at www.chscougaralumni.org or check out their Facebook page – Covington High School (Virginia) Alumni and Friends.
