Northwest ACE, Clifton Forge, held a customer appreciation BBQ party, as a thank you to its customers, last Saturday from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., at the store’s back door.
“All of Charlie’s BBQ(Overstreet) stores are celebrating their customers today,” said Store Manager Rashad Worth of the 2023 FlavorFest Labor Day BBQ party.
Marvin Spurgeon, Employee, was manning the grill as he seasoned pork chops, steaks, chicken, hamburgers, and hot dogs with seasoning sold in the store. “Some of these are from Big Fat Jerry, right here in town,” said Spurgeon as he showed off the seasoning in his hand.
Lee Nichols stopped by for one of his daily trips and verified that “Jerry’s stuff is good.” Nichols explained that he uses Jerry’s seasoning on his steaks and ribs, especially BrandX.
“I stop by every day to get something. Sometimes multiple times a day,” added Nichols.
Some people that happened upon the BBQ said they didn’t know about it. But were happy to walk away eating a hot dog, after they finished their indoor shopping.
Worth and Spurgeon look forward to more days like this for their local customers.
