The City of Covington would like to inform citizens and businesses that beginning Tuesday, August 29, 2023, the front of the Library Parking Lot on Riverside will be closed for repairs and cleaning. This will continue through September 2, 2023, Tuesday, August 29th the front of the lot will be closed for cleaning. It will open back up on August 30th and then the back side of the Library Parking Lot on Riverside will be closed for the rest of the repairs and cleaning.
Following the cleaning on August 31st, the front of the lot will be closed due to the sealing of the parking lot. Then directly after on Friday, September 1, 2023, the Front Lot will be painted, and the back of the lot will be sealed. Finally, on Saturday, September 2, 2023, the back of the lot will be painted, finishing up the parking lot closure. Please make sure that you avoid this area for parking. The repairs and cleaning will begin at 7:00 a.m. and continue through the day until 5:00 p.m.
