A long time member of this community, she enjoyed taking care of others. Libby was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, shopping on QVC, and eating breakfast at Arby’s with friends. Most of all, Libby loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Boone is survived by one son, Christopher Alan Boone and wife, Paula of Covington; a daughter, Tina Boone Dressler and husband, Neal of Covington; four grandchildren, Michael Alan Boone, Brittany Michelle Jordan, Colton Tyler Harris and wife, Burke and Kendra Brooke Dressler; five great grandchildren; one brother, James “J.W.” Dudding, Jr. and wife, Pam of Clifton Forge; three nephews; a special sister-in-law, Karen Boone Woodfin; as well as several other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Boone was preceded in death by one son, James Michael Boone.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Alleghany Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.
