Alleghany County Treasurer’s Office Begins Serving Delinquent Tax Warrants

ALLEGHANY COUNTY, VA (VR) – Beginning on Tuesday, June 23 the Alleghany County Treasurer’s office will have an individual serving warrants for delinquent taxes.
 
This individual is a male and will have identification to confirm who he is a lanyard with name tag as well as his shirt will identify him as a Treasurer tax agent.
 
This individual will not be taking payment from you.
 
If you have questions please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 540-965-1770 or the Treasurer’s office at 540-863-6630.
