According to Covington City Manager, Allen Dressler, a cabana will be going up today, July 20, near the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library just by the Jackson River. “Folks can come down, sit, enjoy going to the library, and reading a book, going down and eating lunch, going down and just enjoying the geese and the ducks, and all the fun things that play around in the river,” Dressler said about the cabana. As he describes, there will be plenty of places to sit inside the structure due to its “rectangle shape” and “seating that goes pretty much all the way around it.” (Jennifer Bailey Photo)
