The principal part of the program will be a panel of local businesspersons that will discuss choosing a business, advertising and marketing, the Clifton Forge business climate, new business opportunities in town, how can residents and the community increase local business support, and lessons learned. The panel will invite questions from the audience. Panel members are Ashley Bennett of Mountain Field Market, Misty Callahan of 42 Deli, Erin Huffman of the Flower Center, Jenny Oeltjen of Livy’s Closet, John Scott Williams of Clifton Tire, and Rashad Worth of Ace Hardware. Also on the program will be Clifton Forge Town Manager Chuck Unroe who will provide his monthly update on the State of the Town. Blue Ribbon Recognition Awards will be presented to several business owners and residents who have made significant improvements on the exterior of their buildings.
The Clifton Forge Community Gatherings are held monthly to provide a forum for citizens. All residents, businesses, and others interested in a dynamic future for Clifton Forge are encouraged to attend. Attendees are welcomed and encouraged to share ideas and strategies to make Clifton Forge a better place to live, work, play and do business.
