A beautiful display of fireworks lit up the night sky as the town of Clifton Forge gathered together on July 3rd at the Heritage Center. While most locals brought their own chairs from home, others sprawled out on blankets draped across the lawn. Children chased one another through the grass waving glow sticks as a father nearby lit sparklers for his young son. Folks chatted away, enjoying icees, drinks, and homemade ice cream as they eagerly awaited the main event. On the risers, the Celebration Choir, donned in red, white, and blue, stood proudly in front of the crowd and sang a number of Patriotic songs. (Jennifer Baily photo)
