Sheriff Dycho early last night raided the home of Connie McDowell on Marion Street, where he found many bottles and fruit jars and a small quantity of moonshine liquor.
Upon knocking at the door of the house, the party seeing who was at the door refused to open it, proceeding to the rear of the house.
Upon gaining entrance Sheriff Dyche made a thorough search and after finding the spirits, jars and bottles, brought all to the local jail.
McDowell, however, was later released on bail to appear for preliminary trial.

Hercules Production Facilities Expanded
Hercules Incorporated today announced a 10-million-pound expansion in the production of saran-coated balanced polypropylene film. This increase in capacity will more than double the supply of film of this type currently available in the American market. The expansion is scheduled to be in operation in the first half of 1974.
Hercules produces saran-coated films of two types. Its CB film is now widely used in laminations with cellophane and other substrates in snack and candy packaging. Hercules HB film is designed to provide the high oxygen barrier required for laminated structures of coffee, cheese, and meat packaging.
Both types offer an attractive combination of economic and property values which has led to the fast-growing demand for polypropylene films in food packaging.
In addition to the new coated film line, the other film facilities at Covington are being modified to increase their capacity. This new increase in film capacity at Covington is in addition to the large-scale expansion of film production in Terre Haute, Ind., which was recently announced.
