Olde Town Covington is bringing the holiday spirit to the summer season with a special event called “Christmas in July.”
This festive celebration will coincide with the popular First Fridays in the Park – Community Pool Party, promising an evening filled with fun activities for the whole family. The highlight of the event will be a free swim evening at the Covington City Pool from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
As swimmers enjoy the refreshing pool, the air will be filled with the joyful sounds of Christmas music playing over the speakers. To add to the excitement, there will be entertaining contests where participants can win exciting prizes.
Meanwhile, Main Street Park will come alive with a small business pop-up, featuring a variety of vendors. The pop-up will start at 5:00 p.m. and continue until 8:30 p.m., giving attendees ample time to explore and support local businesses.
Food enthusiasts will be delighted to find Love All BBQ food truck serving their mouthwatering BBQ and sides from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For the little ones, bounce houses will be available starting at 6:00 p.m., providing hours of jumping and laughter.
And what would Christmas be without a visit from Santa Claus himself? Under the gazebo, Santa will be available for memorable photo opportunities from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
