BRIDGEWATER, VA (06/13/2023)– Bridgewater College recognized more than 60 outstanding students during the annual College Awards ceremony on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
Among the students receiving awards was Gabe Miller, a(n) history major from Covington, Va.. Miller received the Ruth and Steve Watson Humanities Award, presented to a student who demonstrates dedication and sensitivity for the humanities courses embedded in the liberal arts tradition of Bridgewater College.
Miller is a member of the cross-country and track teams at BC. After graduating from BC in 2026, he plans to attend graduate school.
Bridgewater College is a private, four-year liberal arts college located in the Central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Founded in 1880, it was the state’s first private, coeducational college. Today, Bridgewater College is home to approximately 1,450 students.
