Norma Kirby Kemper, 86, of 2042 S. Carpenter Drive died Saturday, August 1, 2020, at her home.
Mrs. Kemper was born April 10, 1934, at Jordan Mines in Alleghany County a daughter of the late Samuel and Dora Chapman Kirby. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Paul Eugene Kemper, in 2016, one sister, Jessie Paxton, and three brothers, George Kirby, Lewis Kirby and Eddie Kirby.
She had retired from the former H.O.Canfield plant in Iron Gate and was a member of Covington Bible Church.
Surviving are  her Daughter, Donna Kemper, of Covington; two grandsons, Paul Holsclaw, and  Marie, of Covington and Ross Holsclaw,IV, of Covington; three great grandchildren, Paris, Darrien and Ariel all of Covington; one Sister, Erma Barkon, of Stewartsville, PA;  two Sisters-in-law, Betty Kemper and Jewel Anderson, both of Covington and several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Wendell “Popeye” Paxton, of Covington.
A private funeral service will be held Monday, August 3, 2020, at the graveside in Alleghany Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.
Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
