Larry Glen Griffith
Larry Glen Griffith, 73, of Covington, died at home on Thursday, May 18, 2023. He was born October 21, 1949, in Covington Virginia, the only son of the late Willard and Helen Griffith. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his son Patrick Glen Griffith. He is survived by his wife Rebecca L. Griffith, his daughter Amanda Elizabeth Ayers and her husband Lee, and his two grandchildren Reagan and Riley Ayers.
He graduated from Covington High School, class of ’68, and continued his education at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. Larry began his career with Commercial Union Insurance Company. He spent many years as a Claims Manager and Catastrophic Claims Adjuster.
Larry was an avid sports fan. He supported many teams with UVA being his favorite. He was an insatiable reader and enjoyed a variety of authors. Larry had many lifelong friendships and enjoyed spending time with those friends reminiscing of days gone by.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 12 noon at the Covington Baptist Church on Riverside Avenue in Covington VA.
Family and friends are invited to attend a light luncheon in the church hall following the service.
