Jim Smith

James “Jim” Edward Smith, 71, of Burnsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at his residence.
He was born January 4, 1949 in Ft. Sumpter, SC, the son of the late Homer Edward Smith and Margaret Gertrude Fortner Smith.
He was married to Carolyn Louise Metheny Smith of Burnsville and retired from General Motors as an electrician.
Mr. Smith served in the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict and with the National Guard during the Vietnam War.
