COVINGTON, VA – The Bath County Chargers (3-2) are rolling.
After dropping their first two games of the season, the Chargers have now won three in a row after a 4-1 victory this past Wednesday against one of their rivals in the Covington Cougars (1-6).
It was the Kamoy Stone show on that day as Stone knocked in the hat-trick with three goals scored on six attempts at the goal. Stone also had three steals in the Chargers win.
Meanwhile, Caiden Offer had one goal, and one assist. Isaac Gwin led all players with a game-high six steals. Noah Harmon added three steals.
Frankie DeBoe was once again brilliant defending the net as he recorded 14 saves out of 15 shot attempts on him at the goal.
For the Cougars, their one goal came from Jesus Reyes which was his fifth on the season.
Both teams are in action on Tuesday as the Chargers has Auburn, while the Cougars are on the road in a Pioneer District meeting with Eastern Montgomery.
