Aubrey Brown Headed to Roanoke College for Volleyball

COVINGTON, VA – With her family, friends, coaches, and teammates at the Covington High School gymnasium supporting her, CHS student athlete Aubrey Brown, on Friday, March 17th signed her letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Roanoke College. 

 This past season Brown helped lead the Covington Lady Cougars volleyball team to a 22-5 record that included a regular season and tournament district championship. In her senior year, Brown had 205 kills and 270 digs.

 Brown’s senior year accomplishments in volleyball included:

– All-Pioneer District First Team

– Pioneer District Player of the Year

– All-Region First Team

 Her district player of the year award for the 2022 season was her second POY award. She was the district player of the year as well during her junior year. Brown was on the all-district team three times, as well as on the all-region team three times. 

 For her high school career, Brown recorded 550 kills, 230 aces, 530 digs, and 10 blocks.
