“Snacks and Hardbacks,” the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library’s teen book club, will hold its upcoming meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the novel “The Giver” by Lois Lowry.
The group, led by AHRL staff member Rebekah Burnette, is geared toward teens (ages 13-18) and meets on the first Tuesday of each month to discuss selected teen and young adult novels.
The Jan. 5 “Snacks and Hardbacks” meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.
Teens wishing to join the discussion should email the AHRL at library@ahrlib.org with the subject line “Teen Book Club.”
A staff member will get back in touch with the meeting link and instructions for joining. Copies of the novel are available for check out at the AHRL.
