Hillcrest Mansion Inn wins first place at Lexington’s ‘Just Desserts’

LEXINGTON, Va. (WVDN) – The Lexington Woman’s Club held its “Just Desserts” fundraising event and silent auction Sunday, Feb. 26 at the Virginia Horse center in Lexington. Martha Crawford, of Hillcrest Mansion, won first place and people’s choice awards, beating out 30 other local businesses. The Lexington Woman’s Club has been serving Lexington and Rockbridge County since 1911. The club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), which is one of the oldest and largest women’s service organization in the world. It is dedicated to community improvement through volunteer service.
